Elliott Museum Presents an AI Hologram of Howard Carter, Developed by RAVATAR

[Limassol, 21 October 2025] — In collaboration with the Elliott Museum (Florida, USA), RAVATAR has introduced a holographic AI Avatar of British archaeologist Howard Carter, known for the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb in 1922. Housed in a holobox, an interactive holographic display, the lifelike AI avatar invites visitors to engage directly with Carter through real-time dialogue, storytelling, and Q&A, over a century after his landmark find.

The project blends history, technology, and education to transform traditional museum exhibits into a dynamic, participatory experience that connects past with present.

Reconstructing Carter’s Presence

RAVATAR’s creative and technical teams carefully reconstructed Carter’s appearance, voice, and personality to capture his true spirit. His features and clothing were modeled from archival materials, down to his distinctive mustache, field-worn linen suit, and early 20th-century charm. His voice carries the measured tone of a scholar, with a knowledge base rooted in personal writings and verified historical sources. The result is a holographic digital figure that doesn’t just resemble Carter but speaks and reacts with a mindset drawn from his documented legacy.
