In this environment, RAVATAR, in collaboration with the esteemed Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF), introduced another cutting-edge 3D AI interactive avatar embodying Theodoros Loukaidis – the visionary Director General of RIF and a pivotal figure in the Cypriot scientific and technological landscape.
As the head of RIF, Loukaidis has spearheaded numerous initiatives to bolster Cyprus’s position as a nexus of technological advancement and entrepreneurship. Under his leadership, this organization has implemented diverse funding programs and partnerships that enhance the island’s capacity for innovation, making it an attractive destination for tech talent and venture capital.
The magic of technology truly came alive at the RIF booth, where RAVATAR’s presence transformed the space into a center of boundless curiosity and excitement. The interactive 3D AI avatar, encased within a sleek holobox, allowed festival-goers to engage in a real-time dialogue with a holographic representation of Mr. Loukaidis. Equipped with AI-driven responsiveness and featuring humanlike gestures and movements, the avatar provided a wealth of information about RIF’s initiatives and Cyprus’s burgeoning opportunities for startups and investors.
The booth also showcased an additional marvel of innovation — holoportation technology — allowing attendees to instantly transform into holograms within the holobox, the ultimate device for holographic projection. This captivating attraction drew widespread excitement and admiration, showcasing RAVATAR’s technical excellence. The ability to see oneself as a hologram sparked a wave of enthusiasm and delight, offering a glimpse into the fascinating world of digital embodiment and leaving a lasting impression on all who participated.
As conversations flowed and ideas sparked, the RIF booth was graced by the presence of esteemed guests such as Nicodemos Damianou, Deputy Minister for Research, Innovation and Digital Policy. Mr. Damianou commended the innovative technologies on display, reflecting his endorsement of groundbreaking advancements in the field.
Additionally, we were privileged to welcome Ms. Annita Demetriou, President of the House of Representatives, to our exhibit. Her presence highlighted the strong alignment of governmental support with the innovations brought to light, further underscoring the impact of our contributions at this prestigious gathering.
