OpenAI Assistants
OpenAI Assistants is one of the supported AI Agents providers: the avatar’s replies are produced by an assistant from your OpenAI account.
With the provider selected, provide your API Key from the OpenAI dashboard and click Apply (keys you’ve saved earlier are available in the drop-down list). The key is verified automatically, and a Valid Key or Invalid Key badge appears next to the field.
Once the key is validated, the Assistant field appears – pick one of your assistants and click Save.
The list shows the assistants that already exist in your OpenAI account – Genesis Studio doesn’t create them for you. If the list comes up empty, set up an assistant in the OpenAI Assistants console first (its instructions, model, and knowledge are all defined there), then return to the wizard and pick it.
OpenAI bills the assistant’s usage separately, based on your account’s API rates.
OpenAI Assistants are text-based, so an additional TEXT TO SPEECH panel is shown below – your AI avatar needs it to communicate with voice. See the TEXT TO SPEECH guide for the provider and voice options, and click Save after you finish.
With the assistant connected and the voice configured, test your avatar in a live conversation – click Talk to Avatar in the Preview Display panel.
